The delegation of Zhejiang Gongshang University visited Australia which was one stop of its 2019 academic tour in Oceania on December 22. The delegation which was led by the vice president Mr. Qian Tianguo visited four Australian and New Zealand universities - University of New South Wales, University of Canterbury, University of Otago and RMIT University, and planned to build in-depth collaboration with these universities.
Lance Zheng, CEO of Allearn Education, an alumnus of Zhejiang Gongshang University, warmly welcomed the delegation and shared abundant experience in international education field in Allearn’s Melbourne headquarter office. As an outstanding alumnus of Zhejiang Gongshang University, Lance is keen to working as a bridge to help the university to make academic connections to advanced Australian universities.
Mr. Qian introduced the updated development blueprint of the university including the development strategic framework, the personal (teachers and students) training and exchange program, and the international collaboration plan. He also invited Lance to serve as the first director of Zhejiang Gongshang University Australian Alumni Association to take more responsibilities and present more information for the university.
Both Zhejiang Gongshang University and Allearn Education hope to contribute to tertiary education field between China and Australia.
